A recent poll showed that Donald Trump is at 34 percent among voters in New York, less than the 52% of likely voters who say they would vote for Hillary Clinton – putting Clinton in the lead by 18 points. Given this lead, Hillary Clinton is probably safe in assuming that New York is hers for the taking. In 2012, New York voted for Obama. The polls are indicating that the people of New York will lean Democratic once again this time around.

This isn’t really a surprise, but because New York is one of the few states that actually matters, it’s worth mentioning.
